For individuals seeking private rented accommodation, flats/houses of multiple occupation Conwy Council operate a Landlord Registration Scheme.

“Tenants need to be secure in the knowledge that their flats comply with all relevant legislation and the Authority's minimum standards.”
(For info, if you are 18 and over you are usually able to enter into a legal tenancy.)

Alternatively students are directed to look in their local weekly newspapers available at College libraries. These newspaper landlords and properties are in no way ‘approved' or ‘inspected' by the College/the Council – it is up to the student to make up their own minds as to its suitability.
