Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl is holding a Rhyl Sixth Information Event on Tuesday 8th December at 6pm at the Campus on Cefndy Road.
The programme of events includes an introduction to the new purpose-built £3.6m Rhyl Sixth Centre, information on the choice of course options and support available for learners from September 2010, news on the range of extracurricular activities available and ends with a tour of the College.
Post-16 education in Rhyl is changing. The development of a new custom-built centre at Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl will provide learners with the widest choice of subjects in Denbighshire and facilities which are on a par with the very best in Wales.
The new centre is offering an exciting range of opportunities for young people from September 2010 including over 50 AS and A Level programmes, BTEC First and National Diplomas and other vocational programmes including Health & Care and Motor Vehicle, as well as the opportunity to mix and match AS courses with vocational courses.
The building of the new centre started this month, complying with the College’s green and sustainable ethos. Facilities will include two state-of-the-art Science laboratories, a multi-faith room, Art & Design studios plus IT and Mac suites.
