  • Investing in campus infrastructure in an equitable manner in response to local need
  • Enhancing the choices and opportunities for learners ensuring impartial learner guidance
  • Ensuring that the bilingual ethos of each site is further developed
  • Expanding the range of bilingual curriculum on all sites
  • Ensuring that all staff are treated fairly and that in accordance with TUPE any change in terms and conditions will be by mutual agreement
  • Maintaining the historically strong financial performance of the Colleges, thus aiming to manage change without the need for compulsory redundancies
  • Developing employers’ links to ensure that the skills needs of the local economy are fully met
  • Maintaining and expanding the partnerships with schools to reflect the area and ensure a rich vocational offer for 14-19 learners.

Working together, we are looking at ways to strengthen and expand the opportunities and choices available to learners in the area. Our proposals include significant investment in staff and related infrastructures. Both Colleges bring strengths to the table which can only be of benefit to learners in this part of North Wales.

We are keen to collaborate with Coleg Llandrillo Cymru as a way of further developing the choices available to learners in Meirionnydd and Dwyfor. We will be retaining and developing our bilingual provision so that learners can continue to study in the language of their choice. This partnership would also open up new possibilities for working with employers in the area.
