About Llandrillo

What our students think of Llandrillo College

Don't just take our word for it, here's what our past and present students think Llandrillo International College:

BA (Hons) Business & Management studentOlga Sweeto, from Belarus studying
BA (Hons) Business & Management

Llandrillo College is a great place to meet new friends. The course is inspiring and we are encouraged to think for ourselves. In Russia we just get facts, but here the classes are very thought provoking. The Tutors are very supportive and always friendly and the facilities are very good too. I really want to run my own Accountancy business when I graduate.

MSc Management studentManjunathan Subramanian, from India
studying MSc Management

North Wales is a beautiful part of the UK and Llandrillo College is a great place to study. I'm really enjoying my time here. The course is very interesting and my Tutors are all very informative and accessible. Everyone in the College is very friendly and the International Staff are very helpful. I've gained valuable management experience by working part-time, which will help me when I return home.

BTEC First Diploma in Art & Design studentAnh Hoang, from Vietnam
studying BTEC First Diploma in Art & Design

I'm in my second year of study at Llandrillo College and I like everything about it, especially making new friends. The facilities are really good and the Tutors and students are really helpful and friendly. I'd like to go on to study Art & Design at a higher level, hopefully here at Llandrillo College.

NVQ 3 Food Preperation and Cooking studentAbhijeet Sharma, from Delhi India
studying NVQ 3 in Food Preparation & Cooking

I'm in my first year of study, training to be a chef and am really enjoying my time here. The atmosphere at Llandrillo College is really great; everybody is really friendly and supportive, especially the International Officers. They're always ready to help us out with any accommodation, employments and even personal problems that we may have. They also regularly arrange social events for us, including trips and parties, so we can see other parts of the UK and meet up to socialise with the other students at Llandrillo College.

Catering studentIrfan Mohammad Khan, from Delhi India studying NVQ 3 in Catering

I've been a student at Llandrillo for three months and I really, really like the College. The modern facilities in the department are excellent and the Tutors teaching methods make the lessons very interesting with many practical sessions in the College's own restaurant. Charlotte and Melanie from the International Office and my Personal Tutor, Craig, are really excellent. I feel lucky to have them helping me. The atmosphere in the College is really friendly and I have made so many friends since I have been here. I'm currently working in a local Italian restaurant. The pay is good and I also get tips from the customers. I will be studying here for many years as North Wales is a lovely place to live and study; it's very beautiful.

BA (Hons) Hospitality Management studentArjun Datta, from India studying BA (Hons) Hospitality Management

I've really enjoyed studying at this College. I have made many new friends and everyone is very helpful. I am also the Student Union President. I have been living with a host family which is a really good thing as they make me feel at home. Llandrillo College is like a home away from home.

BTEC First Diploma in Travel & Tourism studentMine Karadal, from Turkey studying BTEC First Diploma in Travel & Tourism

Llandrillo College is the best College in Wales and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to study in a friendly and supportive environment. When I complete the BTEC First Diploma, I'm going to join the Level 3 course before going to work within the Travel & Tourism sector. The courses here have given me the skills and knowledge I'll need to achieve this. I take part in activities, trips and parties for International students and have met people from many different countries and made new friends.

Hayder Ali Khan NiaziHayder Ali Khan Niazi, from Pakistan
HND in Hospitality Management & BA Hons

After graduating from the college, I retuned home and joined the biggest chain of hotels in my country. In 3 years I've had two promotions and I am assistant department head (Assistant Food & Beverage Manager). The hotel where I am working has 400 rooms 10 restaurants and banqueting capacity of 5000. About 200 staff members report to me. All what i have achieved is what i have learned in Llandrillo College.
