International Student Fees 2011 entry

Students from non EU countries without Leave to Remain in the UK will pay International Fees. (There are some exceptions to this rule).
Registration Fees
Prior to an unconditional offer being made a registration fee will be paid. These fees will be deducted from the course fee on arrival. For 2010–11 entry this will be £2,000
The balance of fees will be paid on arrival to the College or within the first 4 weeks of study for existing students. New students will not be permitted to make payments by installments. In some circumstances existing students may be able to pay their fees in installments by agreement but all fees should be paid in full by the start of the third term.
The College maintains the right to withhold certification until fees have been paid in full.
Fees normally include examination fees for the main course of study and, in the case of Full time English courses of 3 or more months, the provision of one text book.
Fees are set as follows:
English Language courses up to 6 months duration
- Pre-sessional English up to 6 weeks - £100 per week
- English Language Summer School - £120 per week
- Short Course English – 3 months (12 weeks) - £1500
- Short Course English – 6 months (24 weeks) - £3000
- English Language courses – hourly - £6.00 per hour
English Language courses – Full time 1 year – 36 weeks
Level 3 Pre Degree Courses - A level, IB, BTEC and Vocational courses
International Pre Degree Foundation and Pre Masters Courses
Undergraduate courses – Foundation and Bachelor Degree
Scholarships and Bursaries
The College offers a limited number of 1 year 25% scholarships to outstanding students. Please see detail 'scholarships' (more information).
The College offers a range of additional fees concessions and bursaries to new and existing students. These include:
- Partnership Bursaries – to students of partner institutions overseas
- Progression Bursaries – to students progressing to higher level courses in the College
- Good Progress Bursaries – to existing students progressing onto subsequent years on the same courses and showing excellent progress and attendance
- Family and Friends Bursaries – to new students being introduced to the College by family and friends of existing students
Refunds Policy
In the event of a visa being refused the registration fees will be refunded. £100 will be retained as an administration fee. The College must have written evidence of the visa refusal. Once a CAS has been accepted by a student, refunds will not be made if a student changes their mind about study.
On arrival, refunds of fees will not be made, except in exceptional circumstances and by agreement with the Director of International Operations.
