Social Activities while at Llandrillo College
You will be warmly welcome to join the social activities programme organised by the International Team. These activities will help you settle in and make new friends and you will see some of the local area as well as other places in the UK. For some activities, you will be asked to pay a small fee, but many activities are free.
Student Parties
We have two or three parties each year. The parties are a fun way to get to know the other international students and the International Team.
Summer BBQ
This is help to say farewell to students who have been studying with us at English Summer School
City Shopping Trips
The International Team arrange trips to local towns and cities including Chester, Manchester or Liverpool where you will have the opportunity to shop or visit local sights.
Visit to Snowdonia
You may also have the chance to visit the stunning Snowdonia National Park which has the highest mountain in England and Wales. Log onto Snowdonia Wales web site for more information.
Weekends Away
The International Team will put you in touch with travel companies who organise weekend trips to London, Edinburgh, York, Bath, Oxford and Cambridge, or further afield to Dublin, Paris or Amsterdam (visas permitting).

Various social activities are also organised during our English Language Summer School and the International Team are happy to organise other activities and visits. Please contact the International Office for more details.
