College Profile
Llandrillo International College was established in 1965 although it has existed on other campuses since 1934. Currently there are over 24,000 full and part-time students with around 7% from overseas. We offer accredited degree programme through the University of Wales. Our Centre for Higher Education provides excellent facilities for our students who study for the University's qualifications.
Llandrillo International College has the highest quality profile in the Region
and one of the highest in the UK . Every year our students win national
and international awards across many of our curriculum areas. The
use of detailed, anonymous online surveys provides evidence that
the College services and staff are appreciated by its students. The
student satisfaction rate is consistently high with over 90% confirming
they would recommend both their programme and the College to others.

Our Results
Our lecturers are extremely well trained,
many with Masters and PhD qualifications, and our students achieve
excellent results.
For
example, this year 95% of A level students gained their full
qualification, with 100% pass rate
in many subjects. Equally
our attainment
in Vocational A levels is excellent with our students consistently
gaining between 85 and 100% pass rate in Art & Design, Business,
Engineering, Health & Social Care, Information & Communication
Technology , Retail & Distributive Services Science and Travel & Tourism.
This attainment far exceeds the UK national
average.
