Learning Resources
The campus has outstanding learning support facilities to help you get the very best results, including:
- Computing facilities: Llandrillo College has over 1000 computers on campus, all of which are equipped with the latest technology and software, free email and internet access.
- English Language Centre: There are extensive ‘English as a Foreign Language’ (EFL) learning resources, including online options, and staff are on-hand to support your studies.
- The Centre for Advanced Studies and Centre for Higher Education: With dedicated study and IT facilities, our centres provide excellent facilities for students studying for advanced and higher qualifications.
- Library: Our library has over 50,000 books and journals and an online book search.
Restaurants & Cafes
The Student Lounge and Horizons Cafe offer an excellent selection of meals and snacks to suit most tastes. You can also enjoy a wide range of snacks and beverages at our newest coffee bar, The Lounge. For fine dining, you can visit the Orme View Restaurant, which offers fine food at an affordable price.
Sports Centre
Our well-equipped Sports Centre offers Multi-Gym, Squash Courts and Badminton Courts as well as Five-a-Side Football, Basketball and Volleyball. You will be able to participate in a range of classes, competitions and courses, and have the opportunity to gain Coaching Awards.
Named Wales' Top Sporting College in 2006, the College has highly successful sporting centres of excellence including football, rugby and netball. Talented players combine skills training and coaching qualifications with their academic studies, as well as competing in national & international matches.
Travel Shop
Our on-campus Travel Team will advise you on all aspects of travel, including discount package holidays and flights as well as bus and rail travel. The International Team can also help you with your visa applications.

Prayer room facilities are available on request. Please ask the International Team for further information.
Students Union
The Students Union supports clubs and other societies, organises events and entertainment and arranges student shopping, travel and entertainment discounts. They also represent the views of College students at various committees including the Academic Board and the Board of Governors.
Local Transport
Llandrillo College is served well by a network of trains and busses. International students can buy a bus pass at a discounted price, allowing unlimited local travel in the area during term time.
