Outstanding Inspection Results

Coleg Llandrillo Cymru received top grades in all its recent inspections.

The College was the first in Wales to achieve straight grade ones (the highest grade possible) in a Government inspection of its Further Education provision in 2005.

Inspectors highlighted numerous key strengths, including:

• Outstanding teaching and learning
• Outstanding student support
• The College's commitment to excellence
• Broad, flexible and accessible curriculum
• Outstanding and inspiring leadership
• High pass rates, well above national averages

Two further inspections took place in 2007/08 where the College received straight grade ones for the quality of its work-based learning and training. It also received an excellent report from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) when its Higher Education provision was reviewed.

These outstanding results place Coleg Llandrillo Cymru as one of the very best Colleges in the UK.
