The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

The International Baccalaureate is a highly prestigious and internationally recognised qualification which Coleg Llandrillo has been offering since 1992.

• Universities very much welcome students who have continued a breadth and depth of study across a range of subjects
• You will study Theory of Knowledge and undertake CAS (Creativity Action Service), which help develop presentation and debating skills, make valued judgements and strengthen your own capabilities, all of which lead to a well-rounded person
• You do not sit exams until the second year
• You receive your results on July 5th
