Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl

Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl, a substantial part of Coleg Llandrillo Cymru serving Rhyl and its surrounding areas, offers a wide range of courses from Introductory through to university level.

These include full-time courses for both young people and mature students, part-time courses for those wishing to improve their job prospects or to study for pleasure and work-based training opportunities on the campus and in the workplace.

The range of courses is broad and includes Motor Vehicle, Health, Child Care, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, GCSEs and A levels, Access to Higher Education, Return to Learn Courses, Construction, Business, Retail, Administration and Computer courses.

September 2010 will see the custom built, £3.5m Rhyl Sixth Centre opening its doors to sixth formers from Rhyl and surrounding areas. Students will be able to choose from over 50 AS, A Level and vocational options, including new AS subjects such as Film Studies, Electronics, Psychology, English Language and Sociology.

This dedicated centre, based on the Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl Campus and funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, will include new teaching and learning areas, including high specification laboratories.

All Coleg Llandrillo Rhyl students have access to the latest IT facilities, careers library, Higher Education resources and, for break time in between classes, cafés and a student lounge.
