Coleg Llandrillo Denbigh

The Denbigh Campus in Crown Lane opened in 2001, to provide bilingual learning facilities for the community of Denbigh and the surrounding areas.

Full-time courses offered include Access to Higher Education, Administration, Business & Retail, Childcare, Creative Arts, Health & Social Care and Music Technology. The College also offers a wide range of part-time day and evening courses, including Accounting, Art & Textiles, AS & A Levels, Advanced Subsidiaries, Computing, Family History, GCSEs and Languages.

Caffi'r Coleg

Caffi'r Coleg offers a fine selection of refreshments and space to relax and have a break. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring in your own food and drink. The Caffi includes a cyber café containing networked computers and a lounge area with wide screen plasma television. Artwork, including paintings and other work by students, is displayed in the specialist exhibition area.

Information & Learning Centre

The modern Information & Learning Centre is open late two evenings a week and provides everything you would expect, including networked computers, online resources such as the Internet and online journals, colour printing, scanners, photocopying, digital cameras, books, journals and magazines.

Items from the Student Union Shop are also available to buy through the Learning Centre.

Music Technology Centre

The Denbighshire Bilingual Music Technology Centre provides state-of-the-art facilities for a range of full and part-time courses. The Centre includes a live room, recording studio, Mac Suite, student lounge and practice room with a wide selection of musical instruments.

Student Support

The Denbigh Campus has two dedicated Study Skills Facilitators who support students with literacy, numeracy, study skills, learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), writing essays, revision, exam preparation and mobility and other problems.

A dedicated Student Adviser provides impartial information about courses and progression options, as well as support and information on childcare, financial support, grant applications, careers advice and university/further study applications. Specific careers advice is available via Careers Wales staff who visit the College regularly. The Student Adviser is also the point of contact for the College's confidential counselling service.
