From Acting Principal Dr Ian Rees
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru has developed a national reputation for excellence, with some of the best resources of any educational establishment in Wales. The College, its staff and students won numerous awards in 2010/11 and our exam results were exceptionally impressive, with many subjects achieving 100% pass rates.
Following the merger between Coleg Llandrillo Cymru and Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor in April 2010, students can study at campuses in Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. Wherever you choose to study, you will have access to a wide range of facilities and outstanding support services. These will help you to maximise your potential on your chosen course.
In the current economic climate, getting a job can be difficult. Improving your skills and qualifications will improve your job prospects.
The College has courses to offer you from the age of fourteen onwards, enabling you to complement your school studies, acquire vocational and academic qualifications, train whilst at work or retrain for a new career.
The College also offers an extensive range of degrees in association with Bangor University, Glyndŵr University, the University of Wales, Newport and the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC). These qualifications are directly relevant to the world of work, having been developed in consultation with local and regional employers.
Whatever your future plans, the Student Services Team in our Advice & Guidance Centres will be pleased to help you.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Dr Ian Rees
