The New Rhyl Sixth Centre
2010 will see pupils moving across to a custom built, multi million pound Rhyl Sixth on Coleg Llandrillo Cymru’s Rhyl Campus.
This dedicated centre will include new teaching and learning areas, including high specification laboratories.
As a Rhyl Sixth student, you will also have access to the latest IT facilities, careers library, Higher Education resources and, for break time in between classes, cafes and a student lounge.
Rhyl Sixth pupils will have access to one-to-one support from experienced and supportive staff throughout their course including Personal Tutor support, study skills sessions, revision sessions, career planning, financial advice, health and welfare support and optional College/Home partnerships – all the support they’ll need to ensure their success at College and to help prepare them for work or university.
Strong links with the school will also be maintained, with sixth form pupils continuing to mentor and support their younger peers.
